As much as I would have liked to have World 2 out already, being able to work less and actually enjoy the Christmas holiday has been quite nice. I’ve also been working on a few small things in the game that I wouldn’t have been able to do if I didn’t have the extra development time, if that’s any consolation.

Hey Nyubis, welcome and all that. Well, its supposed to still be about FPA, so I certainly won’t call any questions about the game off topic, haha.
For the beta, I added a few keyboard shortcuts that won’t be on the real game. I made p change the color of the pants while I was working on the color cycling code for the real gam (it needs to be more complex now if that’s any hint), and just left that in when I copied all the new code over to the beta. Same thing with the shift button (which I actually wish people would press before taking a screenshot of a bug, it shows exactly where the walls and ground are).
I just want to say, I’m offsetting this topic’s carbon footprint by, uh, telling a tree it’s been doing a mighty fine job lately, or something…
the shift thing kinda freaked me out at first.
I’m thinking,
“OH MY GOD. I BROKE THE BETA.” I pushed random keys trying to figure out which one did it for like 2 minutes. =\

I think what Brad (aka DrNero) is referring to is the cannon in the BETA levels. He’s suggesting that there’s a tree behind it.
And jello is basically jelly. It’s like a gelatin dessert of sorts.
And since you’re new here, you probably won’t understand the whole “stapling jello to a tree” thing. It all derived from a little saying I said a few BETAs back.
‘The person who said that anything’s possible has obviously never tried stapling jello to a tree.’
Then came numerous efforts of trying to staple jello to a tree… all failed.

When you beat the 1st stage you get at a place with flaoting platforms.
when you stand at the edge of a platform and press down
you go hanging at the edge (that’s normal) but the platform stops moving ( not normal )

This game will be awesome. Hopefully it’s a little longer than world 1, and I hope the boss(es) will be a bit harder than the penguin. However, the penguin was actually pretty funny and unique though. I appreciate the sense of humor.
