This may be a little late, but I’d figure I should post it anyway. FPA is now released on Newgrounds and Kongregate, among others. I’d like to pretend that I released World 2 on Kongregate in respose to World 1 being knocked off the top 3 on the front page, haha.

- Thanks, Steve
10/07/2011 | 8:39 PMNot much else to say that hasn’t been said better elsewhere.
I really started creating digital content once I got my first Mac, a now ancient PowerBook G4 (clocked slower than my current phone, imagine that). I first got into Flash games by creating stopmotion animation, and I got into that because I enjoyed video editing, thanks to in no small part by Apple’s focus on media creation with iLife and FireWire (an utter God-sent during the time of DV cameras).
So here’s to (as The Onion playfully puts it) the last American who knew what the heck he was doing.

The iPad is epic win. Maybe I’ll finally answer my massive backlog of emails (sorry everyone who’s emailed me recently!).

11/07/2009 | 9:25 PMSorry for the utter lack of updates on World 3 (though that seems to be the norm nowadays, eh?), keep a heads up, though, Ill be posting some new footage sometime tonight or tomorrow
Good stuff, I promise.
- yay animating

I’ve been adding all the engine refinements from ME2D back into FPA. Crazy how much better the game looks with character rotational smoothing. No more jitters, yay!
Fancy Pants Man now has 3 separate run cycles, want to add a whole bunch of different jumps too. I’m nuts. Got a lot of animating ahead of me. Good thing I love animating.
- Hi, I’m a mac… USER.

Here’s something that bugs me to no end. I am not Justin Long, you are not John Hodgeman.
Apple uses actors to represent their products, Mircrosoft defines their users by what products they buy. Huge difference there.

- Fancy Metroid

So when I’m not doing concept work for World 3, I’ve been playig Super Metroid. Never beat it before, so I figured I should buy it from the Wii VC and do just that. Amazing game. So, I’ve gotten a few emails and such asking about puzzle elements in FPA, nothing overpowering, but what would you guys think of some sort of level or character progression in World 3?

Hey guys, so I’m trying out a new sidebar thingy, something that would allow me to make smaller posts that don’t push down more important posts (like pictures of various pets on my shoulders).
What do you think of the idea? Is the site too thick now? Should I just sell my soul and finally get a twitter to place up here?

Wow educk, I totally bow to your nerd intellect. I’m impressed . . .
Pokemon are cool… Here is some more info on mudkip:
Number: 258 Type: Water Evolves from: None Evolves into: Marshtomp
Mudkip (ミズゴロウ, Mizugorou?) is a blue-and-orange, four-legged, axolotl-like amphibian. It is one of the three starter Pokémon in Hoenn . The fin on Mudkip’s head acts as a highly sensitive radar. Using this fin to sense movements of water and air, Mudkip can determine what is taking place around it without using its eyes. When in water, Mudkip breathes using the gills on its cheeks. On land, it can powerfully lift large boulders by planting its four feet and heaving. It sleeps by burying itself in soil at the water’s edge. Its large tail fin propels it through water with powerful acceleration. If it is faced with a tight situation in battle, Mudkip will become strong enough to crush rocks bigger than itself.
In the anime, Brock obtains a Mudkip at Dewford Island, which later evolves into a Marshtomp.
Is that enough? XD

Marshtomp………….Math Proms
Woah, guys…what did I start here?
I own this game it rocks hard legendary make a world 3 in a year or 2 please cause i know you can’t make a third yet
@Peeves: I dunno. What did you start? ¬¬
Brad, if you’re reading this, I sincerely ask you to make World 3 a lot more difficult than even this one. Heck, make it as hard as Rayman 1, just without the unfair life system. With greater polish comes greater difficulty.
World 2 is a whole lot better than World 1 but I would have liked to see the
Evil mouse with his gun carried over to World 2 he’s just so great in his Mario Trousers!
@ENBE: Seconded!
Where is that little rascal! There should also have been a mini-boss with the penguin…
all i want is a good boss battle.
not an easy one that only takes about 3 minuts.
