I think it would be nice to see some new moves, and possible some weapons to fight spidies with. Also, you could add some higher evolved spidies, such as you ahve small ones, You could ahve medium sized(medium lvl) and large spiders(harder lvl) With the lvles you could add special things to them, such as you did with mister ebil bunny and sleepy penguin, but not as hard. to conclude you would have to jump on him twice, kick him into a wall, then slide into him, thus killing thy foul beasty. :)Med, just slide, daze, *pickup* and throw.

** Added feature. picking up thins and throwing them. like spikes in the ground and having a botton. something would have to hold down the button or else they would come back again. you could put a med spidie in that general area. kick it to daze it, and throw it on the button. (no matter how many times you kick a med spidie, it doent die, only daze)

Hope i gave you some help ~~xX Miki Xx~~

I would say that, although the levels ARE works of art, there's nothing particularly challenging about each one in progression. Perhaps new elements could be added along the way, making it more difficult to complete Level 4 than Level 1.

But new abilities for the character himself? That's a tough one to decide on. Such an addition would be somewhat senseless, since you couldn't replay the levels without having more abilities than you did the first time. This could be counteracted by altering the replay function, though...

Speaking of artfully crafted levels, will there be guest artists in World 3 as there were in World 2?

I think that the levels in world 2 were very good scenery wise, and brad did make some improvements on some interactivity in world 2 (or at least i think so) World 1 was kind of choppy when you moved back and forth, especially in the air, but brad also did a great job of fixing that to, as acavado said, its like he's animated oil. I would be really anxious to see the game go a little bit more in depth with the character progression and an action button, and i would be very willing to run through world 2 or ME2D a couple more times while i wait :) both great games btw^^^ loved everything about ME2D btw, couldnt find a single thing wrong with that game

I think it would be good if there was character progression, but I don't really think Fancy Pants should talk, much like Link from legend of Zelda.
Of course we don't him to "break the 4th wall" so let others do the talking.

Acavado, I love hearing in depth criticisms about my games, honestly, that anyone even believes that FPA is worth critiquing is unbelievable awesome to me.

I have to agree with you there, I thought that the levels of World 2 were a huge step up from World 1, but that's certainly not saying much, heh.

Setting is one of the big things that I want to I improve on with World 3, and being an old-school gamer, I'm going to pack ad much challenging gameplay as I can I to World 3, without getting in the way (I actually got complaints about the game being too difficult in some parts). If you could clarify, though, win which ways did you feel the levels were boring? That they were just too easy, there wasn't enough variance in the gameplay, or the actual setting just wasn't interesting (like, you couldn't send someone a postcard from a level in W1 or W2), or there wasn't enough interactivity (jumping over the candle in level 5 in World 2 doesn't do anything, for example)?

The appeal of FPA is that the guy is so darn slick. It's animated like oil. It's him, not the world Brad build for him to explore, that we love, that makes us go gaga when we learn that he now has a sister that uses her cat as a swingset.

I support the idea of character progression, puzzles, and an action button, but only if it doesn't interfere with the original appeal of the game. It'd be entirely disappointing to slow down the fast-pacing with, say, a jigsaw puzzle. The same goes if Fancy Pants learned a double jump that necessitated unsmooth animation.

My biggest problem with FP at the moment is that the levels bore me. They aren't on par with the quality of Fancy Pants himself. I'd love to see a skill-puzzle in FPA, so long as it's not something as dull as going to trying to press a button in order to creates another platform. Something that required tons of tricky jumps that only Fancy Pants himself could pull off. If Brad could design a fairly challenging level, that wasn't repetitive or slow paced, then I'm all for this new stuff.
