I really started creating digital content once I got my first Mac, a now ancient PowerBook G4 (clocked slower than my current phone, imagine that). I first got into Flash games by creating stopmotion animation, and I got into that because I enjoyed video editing, thanks to in no small part by Apple’s focus on media creation with iLife and FireWire (an utter God-sent during the time of DV cameras).
So here’s to (as The Onion playfully puts it) the last American who knew what the heck he was doing.

Sorry for the utter lack of updates on World 3 (though that seems to be the norm nowadays, eh?), keep a heads up, though, Ill be posting some new footage sometime tonight or tomorrow

I’ve been adding all the engine refinements from ME2D back into FPA. Crazy how much better the game looks with character rotational smoothing. No more jitters, yay!
Fancy Pants Man now has 3 separate run cycles, want to add a whole bunch of different jumps too. I’m nuts. Got a lot of animating ahead of me. Good thing I love animating.

Here’s something that bugs me to no end. I am not Justin Long, you are not John Hodgeman.
Apple uses actors to represent their products, Mircrosoft defines their users by what products they buy. Huge difference there.

So when I’m not doing concept work for World 3, I’ve been playig Super Metroid. Never beat it before, so I figured I should buy it from the Wii VC and do just that. Amazing game. So, I’ve gotten a few emails and such asking about puzzle elements in FPA, nothing overpowering, but what would you guys think of some sort of level or character progression in World 3?

Hey guys, so I’m trying out a new sidebar thingy, something that would allow me to make smaller posts that don’t push down more important posts (like pictures of various pets on my shoulders).
What do you think of the idea? Is the site too thick now? Should I just sell my soul and finally get a twitter to place up here?

Well, I’ve now seen an investigation of Israel’s published “evidence” of the attack. And what it’s so obvious is that Israel is just f*cking up. They publish evidence for normal people to see, but when you watch the Exif info you see that not only are the pictures old, but most of them are also photoshopped. Just look at that stream of pictures. There’s one with a man holding a knife, but the picture has been photoshopped. But not only that, but the picture was taken day time, while the attack happened during night.
There’s 2 pictures taken at the attack, that aren’t photoshopped, and those pictures are of “weapons” (a pipe and another picture of kitchen knifes).
And Israel will never have the right to directly attack people. Even though they got (false) video evidence of them calling the peeps on the boat.
But how about the people that got killed? Well, let’s compare the weapons of use:

As not mentioned in the picture, the saw was used to cut pipes to use as weapons. ’cause pipes are so much more dangerous then rifles.

@ds I’ve seen the reports, I’ve seen the footage, it’s a difference of opinion, that’s all. All I know is everyone that was anti-Israel on this is flipping bc of evidence released. I haven’t changed my opinion and you aren’t going to change yours. We’re at stalemate.
Btw, it has been established they had a right to board the boat.

what did FFF say??? oh and:http://imgur.com/tgNni.png. sorry fairly, but i side with DS. and ya can’t blame media stream for the reason you guys disagree. since im in the us too (Dallas, tx) and i still side with DS. Israel wasn’t the victim, they’re acting like little schoolboys pretending to get hurt so they get better treatment.(or they’re enemies get worse)
@wingdemon – I’m with DS on this one. That, in reality, says absolutely nothing . . . there is no source, no webpage, no pictures . . .

Though I regret that people were shot and killed on the flotilla, since Israel and Egypt were enforcing a blockade they did have every right to board the ship. Blockades are legal.
I also can’t go after Israel because they are the #1 supplier of aide to Gaza, no one talks about that much. And now Hamas is REFUSING to allow Israel to bring that aide into Gaza until Israel and Egypt stop the blockade. Basically, Hamas is going to prevent the people of Gaza getting the aide they need because they aren’t getting the aide THEY need.
And Israel has been demonized from accusations they harvest Palestinian organs (untrue) to the accusation they want Gaza to starve and rot (also untrue).
It’s very hard for me to take photoshop accusations seriously considering all the 9/11 truthers who claimed photos taken of planes going into buildings was photoshopped. Not to mention the Armenian controversy that haunts Turkey but NO one is allowed to speak of that! The Turkish people onboard were IHH who are major Jihad enthusiasts who have stated they wish to die as martyrs.
Also one of the actual leaders of the group on the boat stated they would keep going until they were disabled or boarded. They were well aware they would be boarded. No person can think they can violate something like a blockade and not a) be boarded or b) have to deal with soldiers ready to defend themselves.
I want to know where everyone was when Gaza attacked Israel, what about North Korea SINKING a South Korean ship? This whole media circus is RIDICULOUS considering all the other hell that has been going on, NOW they get riled up?
Blah, that was a rant.
btw there was a reason DS and I called a truce on the argument. Right now there is not enough evidence to convince a person who is on Israel’s side and to convince a person who is on Turkey’s side. So . . . yeah, stalemate.
May I question where that piece of text is from? Even I can’t take it seriously before I know who wrote that. And he should instead of just making a piece of text, make a video showing the edits. Or… What it might look like before the edits.
As I’ve said before, I rest this case until we get further evidence to base our discussions on.
Just a note, I’m not on Turkey’s side. I’m on the side of the innocent people on the Ship to Gaza.
And it seems like Hamas is acting suspicious now… They refuse the real aid the came with the ships…
The question is now, was there actually real weapons on the boat? Did the hide the weapons in the construction. That would explain the electric saws.
The thing that doesn’t make sense now is why Israel’s stream is putting up a bunch of pictures from old cases (example, bullet proof wests)… Might the pictures have been added in such a way just to make it seem like Israel had evidence, until they actually had the evidence? It’s the wrong thing to do, but if you have to serve the masses, you have to serve the masses…
Aka, I do believe that there was something illegal on those boats. In other words, someone where smuggling.
I’m not sure about the pictures, from what I’ve read the major problem is the date which . . . Well I’ve known people to take pictures of events in 2010 and the date shows it’s 2006. There pictures of President Obama giving speeches in 2010/2009 and the date is 3 years before that. So I really don’t know.
I don’t doubt that there were people who were utterly clueless as to what was about to take place. There were people who knew exactly what they were doing though, I believe no innocent person on board was killed.
People bring innocents along to help their cause, it’s akin to using a child as a human shield (which Hamas is known to do), it’s disgusting but it happens.
I believe that at least one innocent was killed.
But trying to give evidence to the public while also not setting the camera is just stupid. Especially when there’s an old picture hiding around.
And I can’t say that I believe that humans with minds could use children as blood shields. But living under those circumstances for a long time breaks your mind… IDK, it just sounds odd.. Like something media would fuzz about.
