Just a quick run through the demo! Holidays are over and I’ll be catching up with the updates.
We’re on the last stretch and I’ve been working like crazy to get these animations finished. Gotta make sure you guys get the best. Remember the Angry Rabbit’s 6 frame moves? I’m up to 170 frames for the next boss, and that’s just for one move! Phew. Alright, back to animating!
After that, plenty more awesomeness heading your way!
Not much else to say that hasn’t been said better elsewhere.
I really started creating digital content once I got my first Mac, a now ancient PowerBook G4 (clocked slower than my current phone, imagine that). I first got into Flash games by creating stopmotion animation, and I got into that because I enjoyed video editing, thanks to in no small part by Apple’s focus on media creation with iLife and FireWire (an utter God-sent during the time of DV cameras).
So here’s to (as The Onion playfully puts it) the last American who knew what the heck he was doing.
…Windows. And Flash?
The iPad is epic win. Maybe I’ll finally answer my massive backlog of emails (sorry everyone who’s emailed me recently!).

Sorry for the utter lack of updates on World 3 (though that seems to be the norm nowadays, eh?), keep a heads up, though, Ill be posting some new footage sometime tonight or tomorrow

I’ve been adding all the engine refinements from ME2D back into FPA. Crazy how much better the game looks with character rotational smoothing. No more jitters, yay!
Fancy Pants Man now has 3 separate run cycles, want to add a whole bunch of different jumps too. I’m nuts. Got a lot of animating ahead of me. Good thing I love animating.
Here’s something that bugs me to no end. I am not Justin Long, you are not John Hodgeman.
Apple uses actors to represent their products, Mircrosoft defines their users by what products they buy. Huge difference there.

So when I’m not doing concept work for World 3, I’ve been playig Super Metroid. Never beat it before, so I figured I should buy it from the Wii VC and do just that. Amazing game. So, I’ve gotten a few emails and such asking about puzzle elements in FPA, nothing overpowering, but what would you guys think of some sort of level or character progression in World 3?
Hey guys, so I’m trying out a new sidebar thingy, something that would allow me to make smaller posts that don’t push down more important posts (like pictures of various pets on my shoulders).
What do you think of the idea? Is the site too thick now? Should I just sell my soul and finally get a twitter to place up here?

whens next report brad?
When the snail shell lands on my head more than once it doesn’t say 2, 3, 4, Like in world 2. It would be awesome if it were to have an online multiplayer option too so you can play mini games between your friends

heh, me too policeman655. but its a sneaky process, because you have to go either into the springy hills or the science room first…
I KICKED THE SNAILSHELL OFF THE LEVEL!!!! after you get it near the red and green buildings, the you have to climb onto one of them, and then fall right onto the snailshell!!!!!!
I found a teleport glitch in the science level

okay, im sorry for double posting, but something amazing happened in 14 minutes. i brought the snailshell to the beginning and tried to smash the mayor with the snailshell but it didnt effect him even though i “hit” him. so then i decided to go jumping with the snailshell on the first spring. so after a few minutes of jumping, i POWED (like in mario) the spring INTO THE GROUND!!!! it was FLAT!!! then the snail shell bounced on it, and made it go back to normal. it was weird.
On the fancy pants adventures World 1, in the dark room with the door that says World 1, if you jump on a wall then on the ceiling it makes a horrible screeching sound
