			<description><![CDATA[<p>I doubt we&#39;re gonna get any faster than what I&#39;ve coded in C++.</p>
<p>Although I may be able to eek out some extra performance if I reduce the amount of comparisons it needs to make per number.  Basically, in the isPrime() function if I take away all the ifs except the %2 and the else (the %2 is left in because if it&#39;s true, it&#39;ll usually save on computation).  That being said, the difference would probably be negligible.

3) Best way to time it is to do it within the program itself, more accurate.  Although that may slow the program down a little bit...</p>

<p>A quick Python program I mocked up in a few minutes.  I got an end result of: 2342407.  2.3 mil isn&#39;t bad, although I think it would be much faster with C++.  May look into that in a bit.</p>
<p>[EDIT] Just thought I&#39;d say that I took the is_prime function from my project Euler solutions (yes, I still have those).

<p>2. For Flash, what is the max frame rate? It would level out the playing field if you had a set frame rate to run on...</p>
<p>3. Can we put in something along the lines of [if variable is bigger than 1 and smaller than 2 do this] for testing smaller numbers or would that be considered cheating?
