Well, I've hacked Dragonfable already (25 lvls in 1 day) so you're next project shouldn't be too hard for me. But it may be a challenge
Not in wrath
the Reaper came today.
this gray path
And took the cube away.
Well, I've hacked Dragonfable already (25 lvls in 1 day) so you're next project shouldn't be too hard for me. But it may be a challenge
Now I have to be extra careful about how I set up the code, since I know Nyubis is just waiting to pry it apart and hack it.
Dont think there's much you can do.
I can trace down every variable and give it the value I want.
Unless you use complex assembler codes, your creation is another helpless victim on my hack list.
You have that much time on your hands? And you're spending it looking at a bunch of variables and functions?
Sounds like me......
Assembler code? You guys weren't even around when people were using assembler code.
The second generation of code stuff is hard (it's better than machine code though - which is basically binary). Thank god for high-level coding now.
CE works with assembler, and a lot of programs are built forth on assembler, so unless you write an assembler-anti-hack-code, you're game is hackable.
World of Warcraft does the same. I was with a friend who wanted to hack WoW, so I advised him CE. When he opened it and started WoW, you heard "intruder detected". That was kinda funnny.
I'm kinda lost here, since I don't know anything besides Javascript. Why couldn't we have this conversation on the Javascript thread, where I intended to have conversations like this?
Anyway I'm not sure I can do the anti-hacking thing, but it won't be as easy as typing a new path into the address bar.
Well thinking about it. If you're writing it in Javascript; it shouldn't be too hard to do some SQL injection to alter the actual code you placed...
I dont excpect it to be as easy as that either.
Since its gonnna be a Flash game, it has standard (pretty weak) hack security.
Hacking those manually (without program) is nearly imposssible.
It's not gonna be a Flash game. It's still Javascript, since I don't know nearly enough Flash to do anything yet.
Nyubis, you remind me of a friend who knows all these system shortcuts to crash your system or format your hard drive or dangerous stuff like that.
I have way too many hacker friends.....
The easiest way to mess up a computer is to mess with the registry (if you have access to the registry). Then it's Command prompt after that.
Which reminds me... my college servers still have a "LOL WJUK WAZ HERE" server comment...
^True story.
Wich way did you do that? I'm intrested.
I'm guessing for commandprompt, since you can even change the school-admin password with that.
Yea, using cmd.
I believe I used: net config server /srvcomment: "LOL WJUK WAZ HERE"
Awesome
Gonnna try that out on the first of september.
I'm just hesitating if I should use:
net user username *
thats for changing that password of username, who can be anyine in the network, even an admin
You'd think you'd need special access rights (basically admin) to change passwords? I'll have to try that out some time.
Oh and try this: telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl
You'll love it.
I know that, but it doesnt works on Vista, I think. I did it on dad's xp, via "run", telnet, towel...
It does work on Vista. You just have to turn on the Telnet Client.
I think it's: Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features > Turn on Windows Features > Telnet Client
Thnx man! its still configuring, but do you know other telnet locations?
OMG, did they make the whole movie out of text?
Who has that much time on their hands????
On topic, I had my dad play the puzzle game and he found a few bugs in it. And I have no idea what's causing them. My code seems to be fine, it's just not working. I have no idea when it will be done. Sorry...
Not particularly. I'm sure there's a way to connect to hotmail or something. It's something like "o mx2.hotmail.com 25". Not sure what you can do with it though.
