I personally think Brad Borne is the best developer out there. His greatest game(s) has to be the Fancy Pants Adventure series. Both FPA games are very detailed, the amount of time and effort put into the games really pays off. FPA world 2 is my favorite. The FPM has tons of different features (the headbang is my favorite). The levels are extremely detailed, and there are tons of humorous little signs that make the levels very fun to explore. The pants/trophy features is great, they give the game replay value, the trophies promote other sites, collecting pants/trophies adds difficulty, and they makes the game more enjoyable over all.
Brad really knew what he was doing when he developed FPA. You can tell the guy put a lot of time and effort into what i would consider the best flash game series i've ever seen. I'm looking forward to the World 2 update and World 3 will be awesome.
Brad: best developer ever?

Yes, Brad is the best game developer out there. Most console franchises are just "franchises" because they just want the same success over and over and over again, changing practically nothing. *cough cough Guitar Hero Rocks the '80s cough cough*
Brad (I think) is just making games for fun and to please his fans (which, from reading comment boards, he has a lot of...).
He changes the game and puts a lot of time and effort into his collaborative and solo efforts. Brad is awesome and is full of AWESOMENESS!!!!!"Knowledge speaks, but wisdom listens." -Jimi Hendrix

That's the difference between video-game devs and flash game devs nowadays. Most of the time video-game devs only worry about the money (not all devs are like that) and will sacrifice production time to get it as quickly out the door as possible.
But flash game devs are creating the game for others to enjoy and cherish!

Though, I quote from Brad, "Most of my games for AddictingGames are what you'd call deadline over quality, haha." This is because AddictingGames will sacrifice anything to get a game out there.

Playing Phoenix Wright (awesome game btw)?
I would say brad is one of the best developers in the sense of originality and being able to show his personality through his games.

He does seem to bring something unique to the table. It's just how everything seems to flow in the game. It brings me back to the glory years of the platformers. You know? Before all this crazy 3D stuff. The level design that he expresses is also brilliant.

@Thefox: Yea, Sonic was legendary. Hopefully the upcoming Sonic can bring back some of that former glory.
@FO: We kinda figured...
Phoenix Wright ftw.

Phoenix Wright ftw.It would be nice to see a good sonic (i might actually buy it if it's good enough).
Phoenix Wright is and was awesome, but Apolo Justice isn't the same sadlyPosted 4 years ago # -
Yea, I feel that Sonic should stay 2D. He just doesn't seem to blend well in 3D. The level design also seems to have deteriorated. Bring back the Sonic days of yore!
I never played Apollo Justice so I wouldn't know.
Although I was seriously considering picking up Harvey Birdman for the Wii!Posted 4 years ago # -
Sonic against FPM would be one heck of a fight. But we all know who would win.....
Posted 4 years ago # -
FPM would win... he's got the skills, and that sweet "hand" gun. If he can beat an angry penguin, tons of spiders, giant snails, and a ice-cream-cone-stealing rabbit, he can beat a girly blue hedgehog!

I would have to agree with this thread. Another thing that makes Bread great:
FPA2 was done, published, uploaded, and on the web. 99.9% of developers would just stop there. Brad actually took the time to fix some of the bugs in World 2, add two new levels, draw some new stuff, etc.
You could either say Brad has serious determination or has waaaaay to much time on his hands.
And yes, FPM would beat Sonic

Yea, he's following up on fixing bugs etc. You've got to admire that. Most web devs stop there unless there's a serious game-crashing bug.
I'm not sure that FPM would beat Sonic, since Sonic can apparently break the sound barrier (enter Mach 1!) so if Sonic wanted to run away I doubt FPM could do anything about it.

I'm pretty sure there are better developers in the world, but Brad is close to being one of them. It's not like someone can be the best and perfect at game making, each person is unique and has their own qualities and specialities. I have to admit that Brad is the most patient game developer I have ever encountered though, all the fixes he does! Let's hope he continues to make brilliant games.

And we're the most patient fans ever! Well, us and PAL Territory Nintendo fans.
(That includes me.

Yes, if FPA weren't so awesome, I don't know how we would wait two years between worlds.
