Hey, all you members of spore with sporecasts and everything! I'm here to ask you a question: What's up with you r memberships? What are they called? I'll tell you. I'm officially known on spore as "GroxJB1000", I have made 2 sporecasts, and my icon is a Dilophosaurus!

The whole point was they were too over-active on the DRM. It had some ridiculous things on it like only being able to install the game about 3 times (so reformatting and reinstalling takes one, theres also trouble for people buying it pre-owned). They've since got rid of some stuff like that though.

Who cares if it gets pirated or not? Who can stop the pirates? (In this case Pirates > Ninjas.)

But Spore's so good that you'll pay to get the 'full' game.

If a game is cheap, but easily piratable, it'll get bought more than a expensive game with good security.

There's a very fine line between being inexpensive and cheap. Inexpensive is good, cheap is not.
