Dennis is an amazing man. But I've got to say, sometimes coding in C makes me want to punch myself in my own face. That being said, it's still horrendously fast (although I prefer C++ for it's object-support).
He deserves a lot of kudos for co-developing UNIX though.
Compared to ASM tho...
