Now, i know that this is taken from Obama's own website, but it can't really be total lies.

Let's see.. Obama wants to ease up the economy for the hard working families and guarantees health coverage for every american,
Look into Medicade and then tell me that that's a good idea.
and he gets this money from raising taxes for rich people. Sounds quite thought-through to me. Also, he has plans to reduce wasteful spending, and reduce jobs being shipped overseas. McCain wants harder taxes on working families, and keeps the tax cuts for companies that ship jobs overseas. Finally, he wants to give tax cuts to the wealthy.
Obama wants to get rid of Bush's 'big business' tax cuts. You really think that that's a good idea right now, the way that companies have been closing studios and laying off people? You charge rich people / business more, that will be passed on to 'the little guy.'
Excuse me, but Obamas plan seems more thought-through.
Also, unless you knew this stuff already; a little text about joe the plumber, McCains beloved mascot:
http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2008/10/16/MNQ013J6JV.DTL&tsp=1
A man brings up a hypothetical situation and gets Obama to use the term 'spread the wealth around.' I don't understand how that man's credentials mean squat.
Now, this is how enviromentally aware McCain is:
http://factcheck.barackobama.com/factcheck/2008/10/02/debate_reality_check_mccain_vo_1.php
McCain is against forcing companies to go green at the expense of their bottom line.
Now, over to the second subject. Well, McCain may be unusually healthy for his age, but being president of the United States IS quite a hard job for a 72 years old, and it seems he's got quite tired just by the campaign. Yes, i do find it quite likely that he will eventually die.
Did you hear him tonight? Didn't sound tired to me. Some families just live longer, it's genetic.
Now, to quote Wiki about lincoln:
"Lincoln was a lawyer, an Illinois state legislator, a member of the United States House of Representatives, and an unsuccessful candidate for election to the Senate."
Appearently, he wasn't experienced enough to get into the senate..
Obama, on the other hand, didn't even have to fight his way into the senate.
I don't get what you are trying to say with the last phrase. Get into the war sooner? What, how.. Wha..!? Why would i have wanted that?
By the way, did you know that people in florida recently got automated phone calls, approved by the McCain campaign, saying that Fidel Castro is an Obama supporter.
Fair play, John!
You're saying we shouldn't have help Hussein, he shouldn't have been there and the US was responsible for him being there. You don't believe that his mass murdering, when a previous U.S. administration has a hand in getting him to his position, is a good enough reason to take him down in the first place?
EDIT: Noticed that VG managed to post before me.. Thanks for joining the debate again!
And yea, 'I'm black, vote for me' wouln't have been enough for Obama to capture the worlds support the way he's done.
Obama promised nothing more than 'Change,' and that he wasn't Bush. He ran on the promise that he wasn't Bush. When he was debating McCain, he pointed out that he wasn't Bush. He talks to his entire supporters like they're still slaves that he plans on setting free. Change to what? Apparently, being black automatically means that your leadership is different enough from the white man's that it IS change. The more we look into his direction, upbringing, mentors, voting history, etc, it becomes apparent that his 'change' points to socialism. Yet he's not running on the promise of socialism by that name. That's sneaky.
So yeah, at the end of the day, I see nothing more than, 'I'm black(ish), my leadership is different.'
But yeah, so he's our president now, either he goes through with his plan of 'spreading the wealth,' punishing our economy and forcing businesses to adapt abruptly in the name of 'global climate change,' taking the competition out of our health system, effectively eliminating smart people's motivation for putting their resources towards becoming great doctors, ooooor, he's a complete disappointment to the liberals waiting for actual 'change.'
