I was thinking that DrneroCF (brad, duh) should make a Fancy Pants Online. You could play all the worlds released so far, but with about 7 other people at the same time. You could have a text chat, and you could customize you FPM with hairstyles and hats.

We have discussed that idea before (Thanks for adding me in ). Making something like this would require some awesome 1337 skillz coding, but the idea is possible.
Making something like this would be that awesome that the whole idea of life would be deleted. The meaning of life should become "FPM!".
The problems I found with this idea are:
*Servers: The awesome amount of players that would become if something like this would be launched commercial, would probably need an awesome amount of servers. And servers are expensive. A solution are that he only release this to the people on this forum, which leads to problem number two.
*Time: All we on this forum live in different time zones. That leads to that when I got A perfect time to play, Video Guy would be in school. This is not that much of a problem, but the fact remains.
*Programming: Who would program an awesome idea like this? Brad would need to add a lot of code and do a lot of stuff to make this possible.

Anyway, yea the chances are low that this would happen but nonetheless it is a cool idea. And I'm really digging the picture.
An alternative to using servers is making one player (preferably the one with the best connection) to act as the server. But then poses problems of it's own...
Well Platform racing is made in flash and works well. I don't know a ton about how one would go about networking a flash game but i don't think it would be that hard on the server. The server would just have to send player locations to all other players (this is just (x,y)), and each players animation name whenever someone starts a new animation (this is just a number that all the computers have agreed means an animation that each has loaded). Then the server would have to send text chat (this is just a string of text and the name of the sender.This is not very much info to be sending so i think it could work. NOTE: i know there are a few things i did not talk about but that is most of it.
As for servers there is a few options.
1. brad has his own servers: this is how Platform racing does it and that will work but may not be the best.
2.the site that hosts the game has the sever: this may work but i don't know of a time when this has happened. FPA is a big game so i am sure that brad could make a deal with the site.
3.ether of the other two options has the server, but it is only used to set up the game and then each computer talks directly to the other computers. This is probably the cheapest.
I don't know if brad would be able to do this sort of thing in flash, but i know it is possible. Brad may not want to do it, he may think that it will not add much to the gameplay. i think it will, but it's not my choose.

Good idea, though I doubt it would happen. Brad should have some idea about networking in Flash already (highscores on ME2D), but he'd still need a server. he could take a look here or contact x-gen studios, they have a lot of experience with multiplayer.

Servers aren't cheap. But without dedicated servers, the game will probably be laggy.
Unless Brad can pull in a substantial income with the game I don't think it'll be worth it.

Nonoba has some pretty good multiplayer APIs. They may be worth checking out. The problem with that is Brad can't get W3 sponsored by Armor Games. At least, I think that's how it works.
I think Fraser's Ride would be better than FPA as multiplayer, since it's a racing game anyway.
