I've been using it for a few days now, and it's got some pretty cool new features. The whole inverse kinematic bones thing is just plain awesome. There doesn't seem to be any stunning new AS features, but heaps of new animation tools. Anyone else had a chance to use it yet?

Me and Brad were saying how it's probably slow, they seem to be going downhill in terms of speed since mx2004 D:
I'd like to try the IK system though, looks pretty cool.
But they're still focusing on animation waaaay more than code :c

I havnt tried yet... I did try a 'special' version of CS3 and I didnt quite like it. I couldnt properly set AS2.0 instead of 3.0. Although that may hav been caused by its state of legalness
I dont hav it anymore though.

I'm still trying to figure out if Bone (which sounds like a cool idea in theory) will make animation as a whole better or worse across the interwebs :/ Might be useful for setting up poses and the like.
Love the idea of dragging tweens around anywhere. Sounds like something logical that should have been in there 5 versions ago, though.
And I had Flash Player 10, but it broke wordpress image uploading, so I fixed it

The bone thing IS cool, though for some reason after about an hour of using it, it started to screw up big time... Every time I made a new keyframe, it would move the positions of the movieclips relative to the bones. All I had to do was hit F6, and the movieclips would shift slightly :\. Could just be my er... special preview build

Actually I hadn't thought of that, could have been. Regardless, by that stage I had to get the animation done for a uni assignment, and went back to CS3 quickly and used a WHOLE lot of motion guides for a similar effect <_<;
