Really? You couldn't find ANY other topics that this might POSSIBLY fit under? Easter eggs, for example?
Brad mentioned in this in his snailshell golf walkthrough, he explained it there.
Just got back on the internet after losing my access for a week. Read more on Random Discussion.Posted 2 years ago # -
Way to scare him off VG. But yea, it's better to look around before creating a new topic (the forum needs a search function).
And yea, we knew about this ages ago.

I could probably be an easy feature to make WJUK. It just needs an hot link to Google, automatically searching on this forum.

Yea you can use Google as a search function for any website (e.g. site: bornegames.com). But many people don't know this.
Alternatively Brad could incorporate a Custom Search Engine from Google. And place it somewhere on the main forum page.

Well now Brad only have to figure out how to put it up on the main page so you see it clearly...

If Brad wants to, here's the code:
<!-- Google Custom Search Element -->
<div id="cse" style="width:100%;">Loading</div>
<script src="http://www.google.com/jsapi" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
google.load('search', '1');
google.setOnLoadCallback(function(){
new google.search.CustomSearchControl('002091574377331473964:6ypz0nzwvpc').draw('cse');
}, true);
</script>Posted 2 years ago # -
It'd be good. I just pm'd him.If Brad wants to, here's the code:
<!-- Google Custom Search Element -->
<div id="cse" style="width:100%;">Loading</div>
<script src="http://www.google.com/jsapi" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
google.load('search', '1');
google.setOnLoadCallback(function(){
new google.search.CustomSearchControl('002091574377331473964:6ypz0nzwvpc').draw('cse');
}, true);
</script>Not in cruelty

this gray path
And took the cube away.Posted 2 years ago # -
Erm... I probably could. But probably not without breaking it several times trying to figure it out.

It'd be easier if Brad creates his own since there are options for a search box that is embeddable straight onto a web-page.
Like this:
<script src="http://www.gmodules.com/ig/ifr?url=http://www.google.com/coop/api/002091574377331473964/cse/6ypz0nzwvpc/gadget&synd=open&w=320&h=75&title=Borne+Games+Forum+Search&border=%23ffffff%7C3px%2C1px+solid+%23999999&output=js"></script>
You can change the width, height and border-style in the thing. You can change the height and width in the code manually (in the w= and h= bit).Posted 2 years ago #
