My idea about the plot is an old friend of Fancy is kidnapped.
He needs to save him, but he can't do it alone.
And that's where Cutie Pants comes in.
Just my opinion of things.
I think there's gonna be a storyline that doesn't directly influence FPM. You just run through the levels and in each level you see a piece of the Pirates vs Ninjas thing.
I'm just saying that this is going to become very unserious and that most of the post will be random stuff and SPCC's sugar-rushes.
But... staying on-topic I think that your idea would be awesome. Just change a bit that CPG sneakes with FPM and hided herself until FPM get into a trap and she (and Kabootle) saves him.

Ohh I fought that you might get confused. Well then... problem halfly solved.
How about: Pirates steal Fancy Pants Man's "Fancy Pants award" overnight, and the Toothpick ninjas are fighting the pirates for the trophy, while FPM is trying to get it for himself. Why are they fighting for it? Because rumor has it that if you take the trophy to some special temple in the jungle (nobody knows where) and put it on a shrine deep in the temple, you get SOOPUR MAJIKUL POWURZ. Now who wouldn't want soopur majikul powurz?
