Pretty cool. I like its style. Did you do the whole thing yourself?
My only complaint is that hitTesting doesn't seem close enough. Like you wouldn't be that close to the evil triangle and it would say you died.
Other than that, keep up the good work! Can't wait to see more.

An advise on correcting your hittests:
instead of
if(spike.hitTest(dude)){
use
if(spike.hitTest(_x.dude,_y.dude,true)
take care the little cross of the dude mc is at his feet.

The hit-testing is a bit fuzzy and I think the screen is way too small. It's hard to see what's ahead, especially if you're like me and just hold on to right to go full speed. It's almost impossible to dodge the spikes first time like that.
Oh, and amazing soundtrack!

I would agree with that. It's fun to go super fast through all those enemies, but I can't tell when a spike is about to come, and it's a bit annoying to start from the beginning. So shrink the level and character and it should be better.
And why does he have a jetpack but can't use it?

And I agree with Awesomeness. You have the fundamentals of game design down, but it needs a bit more work to look like a real game. Don't get me wrong, I think you can certainly change some of the code to make it a bit better, but right now it still looks a bit, um, noobish.

LMAO, it does work. If you time it right, you can get through the whole level just by going right and pressing jump! XD
