(Xbox) I noticed that during online gameplay, people tend to lose their items during the game, and will sometimes be lost going into offline play afterwards.

(Xbox) I found an abuse in which you can get unlimited items. You simply go into "Pirate Cove" in single player and complete the level with 100% once and then simply continue going into that level for the prizes. It can lead to a new prize every 2 minutes or so.
(Full Explanation)
Go into the map and make sure you get both the pencil and 100% completion. Then finish the map, Afterwards, when you go into "Princess Pirate Ship" press the return home button in the menu and go back into "Pirate Cove" when you teleport back. And then just jump in, destroy the tower of enemies and go through the door. Then repeat the process after teleporting home.Posted 1 year ago # -
Being able to mine for items isn't really a glitch. You'd be able to play the shortest level over and over no matter what, but getting everything still takes quite awhile.
There are, though, quite a few bugs in the game, I'm pushing pretty hard to plan a thorough patch as soon as I can.

There are loads of items in the game, I like that. Although making them all random gets on my nerve sometimes (getting the an item twice...)

The snailshell often rolls through you, instead of bouncing off you...

Ah yes, I get that too. Would've forgot about it if you didn't remind me.
I'm not sure if it's meant to happen, but if you stand still and let the snailshell roll into you, FPM ends up just kicking it away gently. Which gets annoying if you just want it to stay there.

Yeah, I guess that's the chance you take for trying to get a cooler item than the ones that are visible.

What do you think about it changing direction when you're doing a backflip? For me, it usually it just makes the shell go the wrong way, but I suppose it could be used in a controlled way?

Wait, item unlocks are random? that's gay. I would have thought they would work like achievements, where if you complete a certain challenge you unlock a new item.

They're both. Challenges unlock certain items, end level unlocks a certain item, unless you're playing multiplayer or replaying a level, you get the reward podiums, should be a pic of that on Facebook.

I see the reward podiums mostly, everyone scrambles to get the items. There's usually a +1 or +2 life reward too.

The snailshell is just a lot more difficult to control than on the Flash version. As for backflipping... well, you get used to it.

It would actually have been nice if you made use of the analog control you get so you can make FPM walk slowly and push the snail-shell gently that way. i.e. Gently push the analog stick part of the way to walk slowly

Having the shell go aerial by holding down x with the pencil would be swell, since without traction, getting the shell directly higher than your position is hard as all hell.

@WJUK: There is analogue control, it's just not as obvious as I'd like. Especially if you're doing downhill, you're going to end up running anyway, heh.
@Moxipalindrome: Jump on it. I have no idea why smacking the shell doesn't get it off the ground, though. Ugh.

@DrNeroCF: I didn't notice it at all.

It's not really a glitch more of a animation problem. When you stab your weapon once your arm that didn't do the stabbing disappears.
Also, when you stab a shell or glowing swirl thing while its coming at you, it stops. hahaha i'm not complaining but I'm not sure if you did it on purpose or not.
