It was important in my own mind.

Well then you aren't allowed to double post period. I'm sorry but those are the rules.

I don't think he gets it..:

On another note: I wont care to share before I've figured out if it's possible.

I'm not allowed to really?

On-topic: I'm gonna try out Chrome OS, but I've got a vmware-specific image, and I use virtualBox...
I'm going to mount it with the help of a USB memory. Or whatever you wanna call it.
Isn't that for parallel/formatting installs only?

This is website.

This is tutorial.
And I'd never virtually run the Google Chrome OS. That would be taking out the point.
Just noting: I deleted that double-post, Nyubis and DS' posts. Just so the topic still makes sense.
Carry on with the current conversation.
To try it out?
Isn't that the main purpose of virtually booting stuff?
Well, I'm fixing up my USB-stick right now. Got to make a backup of course. Cause I'm not retarded.
And if by virtually you mean booting it over Windows, then yes. But I want to really(!) test it out. But letting the whole machine run Google Chrome.
Bumping because Google Wave got cancelled. I'm quite sad about this to be honest... I have a wave account for quite some time already but I never really got the chance to try it out because I didn't have any contacts... Any of you ever tried it?
A small video of what Google Wave is about.
Yea, they announced its cancellation a while ago ): Its sad because google has horrible marketing sometimes and doesnt showcase their products as much as they could. I remember people being excited for wave and then everyone forgot about it.

Well it seems Wave is still operational... They're not shutting down the servers, just not developing it any further, right?
Have you got Wave? Mine is Nyubis@googlewave.com
I have Wave too and had tried it. It's alright, but there wasn't that much that I feel like I could use it for.
I put it on my list of things to check out eventually, but I never actually got around to it. Wasn't it basically just Google's version of a social network?
@WJUK: What's your adress? -Edit: nvm, got it.
@VG: No, that's Google Buzz. That wasn't a good idea IMO...
Looking back on my previous "Wave" topics, I used it for a short time. Once for collabing on a game and the other for house-hunting.
Wait, what does Wave do then?
