I found this guy on DeviantART that makes some awesome andriod-like things. Here's all of the ones (so far) from one of his series.

Sprite sheets?? These should be modeled in 3D!

They sorta are. RX is labeled "RX the Cyber Rabbit", and HT is also labeled as a "CyBunny". VY's just labeled as "One Wing", since she lost one of her wings while escaping from the army. She was originally a test android, but a virus intercepted her control system and I guess gave her a personality and such.

I am such a nerd...

RX's a "he", HT's a "he", and VY is obviously a "she".

Sprite sheets?? These should be modeled in 3D!

Um... Ever seen Blazblue? It's amazing and it uses sprites not 3d stuff.\

Anime stuff should be sprites and not 3d. 3d ruins it.
