My side of the story: FFA got aggravated on his own sometime after I said I would apologize to wingdemon for him (He said wingy would virtually kill him after all that had happened). Then he posted like crazy, and since I despise swear words, I tried to make him stop. He stopped insulting Coolnesiac and turned his guns on me. He said stuff like...
"I MADE YOUR MOM RUN OVER YOUR FOOT!"
"SAUSAGEFANCLUB HATES PUPPIES!"
Ugh, that second one is one of the worst insults I've ever heard. Anyway, I retaliated and told him that he couldn't break me, no matter how hard he tried. I also told him I had a multitude of comebacks to use, if needed. This just made him try harder to insult me. It didn't work, but since I didn't have the power to stop him, I sent Brad a PM to ban FFA. It turned out Coolnesiac's PM got to him first and Brad blocked FFA. FFA owned one other account called ENCOM or something though, and he said "I still await one of your epic comebacks" in this thread. ENCOM was eventually banned as well, and now FFA owns an account called You Know Who. FFA is apparently using that account to insult Brad.

btw, in that PM I sent, I also told Brad we needed more mods and that the header desperately needed to be updated.

Does anyone else have something they would like everyone to know?

Let me explain what happened.
FFA was being stupid and saying crap against WD, and WD was responding. Filling up forums and such. He was also being mean towards everyone else, and though he claimed it was jokes, it was still overly offensive. Since absolutely no mods were around to make him stop or whatever, I created a fake account called FFFA and posted some random crap mocking him back (I shouldn't have done this.) I also sent him a PM that was supposed to redirect him to Google, but it actually went through (no tags stripped). A major security glitch in my opinion, Brad should update bbPress to 1.0.3.
Because of the strange ways of bbPress, it deleted all his PMs as well as all my sent messages. I felt bad about this, so I posted a message on a topic he created saying it was me. (He at the time thought it was wingdemon.) I apologized and for a while he was nicer. (Accepting my apology, etc). Then, either me or sausagefanclub did something to aggravate him (I forget, was tired. At that point it was 10 PM in my timezone.) That caused him to spaz out and post ~200 posts and probably like 70 topics of spam. Then, I notified Brad in an email and wondered if there were any mods online and then I went to bed.

Thanks for summing up what happened. As I've stated before, I've been super busy lately with real-life (yes, boring...).

It saddens me to see FFA do this, seeing as he wasn't particularly bad until lately it seems.

Things seem to line up pretty well across several users and Brad has stepped in as well. Although one thing to note, just like what liphttam said in his "Don't feed the trolls", it's better to ignore then to respond. The purpose of trolls to illicit a response and you can't give them that satisfaction.

As for more mods... maybe we do need some more. Seeing as I'm busy for a good 18 hours of the day nowadays. Nyubis & VG are nowhere to be seen (I've seen Nyubis on Steam a bit). I'm sure liphttam is busy too. Ultimately, that's for Brad to decide though.

I interwebmailed him, not PMed him. Brad hardly ever actually comes on the forum, so I suggest emailing him (brad [at] bornegames.com).

Twas my fault partly for aggravating FFA, sorry again everyone. I actually apologized to him and he seemed calm again, but I guess sausagefanclub didn't see that in time.

@WJUK: Actually, I think he always was, he just messes up the forum, gets banned, changes IP and account, blends in for a while, then repeats. He said he would stay here until the forum dies.

@Sausage: He was a little short-tempered and did have some outbursts (which I reprimanded him for a few times), but he didn't seem all too bad to me. That being said, I missed this whole escapade due to sleep and work so I suppose I haven't seen the worse he has offered.

He was insulting WD and other people (I took this too seriously) and I got fed up and created a fake account to mock him and such. He got angry but then calmed down and we made up, but then sausagefanclub said something or other and set him off.

He went crazy on his own, and I set him off because I didn't like what he was doing to the forum.

My Side of the Cube of Stories: So as WJUK said, it does sadden me too, because FFA was turning out to be pretty cool. But then for some reason he had to go and "prove" to coolnesiac (who i think was joking about being a troll which FFA obviously didnt understand), that he was the biggest troll there was, and he went on a swearing, and trolling rampage (including his thread outburst if you didnt see that). So i got PM'ed by him twice, once by his FFA account, and once by his You Know Who account. here is a picture of my inbox's state right now.

and there are some very harsh words within the PM, so im not gonna post that i will post what it said with blanks though.

They are _______ing with my account.

And then with his "hacker account" he was just going H3H3H3H3H3H3H3H3H3.

crazy.

He has had Various accounts, and the latest account that he is using is called You Know Who. He uses this account to insult brad, and he uses this as his "hacker account" which is just annoying personally.

he seemed to be good at one point, but i guess he wasnt, which is saddening.

EDIT:

WAS FFA FPF??!? Known on the blog at one point, but now forgotten. FPF was a fiend, in fact it was in his user name fancy pants fiend.

wait, if he was hugh studios, and he flamed FO a.k.a brads wife, why would he want to give FFA a third chance, (Matt, you said second by accident) when he has flamed HIS wife, and he has also spammed his forum?

@WJUK: so you agree to my cause of adding more mods. but its up to brad.

I suggest we put this escapade behind us and let the forum return to normal usage.

@ICARAX: I'm not against more mods, my only though is that the community is still pretty small. We've currently got about 6/7 active users (?) and having about half of them as mods, seems a bit excessive.

er, are you alright WJUK? have the active members are mods?

VG has not lurked/nor posted don the forum for months.

Nyubis apparently lurks but when we needed him he wasn't there. (or was he?)

Dax came back after Brad stepped in.

you have your internship.

and Matt was teh only one active at the time, wait, no he became active after teh escapade. but he was better than vg/ds/nyubis group.

your the only trustworthy mod. maybe matt to but he has his schools tuff, and so do you.

we need a mod who is active and doesn't get carried away because of school and stuff. someone irresponsible, and whose on the internet all the time, someone like FFA without the jerk attitude, or someone like Icarax without the noob attitude, or someone like me without the <insert one of many attitude problems here> attitude.

I understand what you're saying. And there are all good points.

Back when the others first became mods, we were on the forum a lot and had a good coverage of times (because we spanned quite a few countries). But you'll find that there will be times when you just are too busy, and that will happen to everyone at least once regardless.

But maybe we do need a new mod to watch over the forum in times like this. Again, it's ultimately up to Brad however. If he wills it, I will give my full support.

The only reason why i wouldnt select Coolnesiac (even though he seems very legible), is because he sorta Trolled FFA. Right? But i dont know if he was joking or not, though it seemed as though he was.

but shouldnt the mod(s) who are elected be active?

I SHOULD BE A MOD!! Except for the fact that I'm not on that much, and I'm a relatively new person here, and I know very little about working fancy internet stuff, and I would probably make a really bad mod anyway. So never mind.

Doesn't get carried away from school? I am provided with a laptop at junior high, so Check.
Responsible? Check.
On the Internet all the time? Well, I like to be when possible, so Check.
Someone like FFA without the jerk attitude? I'm not sure I fit that...
Someone like ICARAX without noob attitude? Check.
Someone like Wingdemon without various attitude problems? Check.

Not to be greedy or anything, but I would like to give it a shot, see if I can handle it.
