   Hm, been through one myself (though a long time ago), my wife just had to buy a new one. Keep in mind, this is through about 5 years and 4 laptops, though...

   Doodle, sketch, draw, design, fill notebooks with elaborate scenes, funny character designs, and gameplay ideas.
   Find your own personal style and run with it. Craft characters and stories that you love.

   Macs are amazing at game design. I rather flash on a mac then on a PC.

   Honestly, Windows is way too-unstable. The only advantage Windows got in the modern day is that it's well used (and actually somewhat cheap), and it has DirectX. If DirectX was open source we would see many more games on Linux system and on Macs.

   In other words, Windows... ewww

   I would definitely use a linux computer if i could figure it out. looks to complicated to me though.

   @WJUK: Of course, just that DirectX is faster.

   But there's a ton of games that are made for OpenGl. Source has been ported to OpenGL and Minecraft was created for OpenGl. In many ways DirectX is getting beaten.

   OpenGL is open and free, works on as good as every platform. DirectX performs better but is more of a commercial product and only works on Windows.
