Are any of you making Super Mario World rom hacks? I made one and i'm wondering are their any hackers here? I know there is smwcentral for this but looking for hackers other places. This is my hack: http://www.filefactory.com/file/af9cdgh/n/Thomp_land_ips
If you don't know how to play this simply do this: Find a clean Mario World rom (tip: search for one on Google) then go to smwcentral.com and download Lunar Ips. Then patch the rom with the .ips file. You also need a emulator (tip: emulator-zone.com). You should probaly use snes9x. Download and then load the rom. Done!

I have an old SMW romhack that I never really did anything with, I'll see if I can find it.

I've also worked with TT64 to make a Super Mario 64 hack, but it's MUCH harder than Lunar Magic.

Well that one was just a topic transformed from a discussion about ProtonJonSA's videos.
But I could probably make better tutorials. I think I could help you better. Like how to use Lunar Magic, applying a .ips patch or adding blocks.

Wow. That was one of the best hacks I've played in a while. You changed the graphics and everything. I just wish it was longer.

I took a peek at the ROM in Lunar Magic (sorry), and found a few oddities. The Desert Cave 2 (I think that was the name) has three different exits, but they all trigger the 'normal exit' on the map. Why?

Speaking of Mario hacks, anyone heard of The Missing Stars? It's available for download now!

Palette and on unreleased update I used cloud background for Sky Yoshi's Home.

It's short because of I haven't really made long levels.

I really just wanted to make some exploring in Desert Cave 2.

But what do you think about the ghost part (I was thinking of totally changing that level).

And I allow pecking in Lunar Magic (If you wan't to see the cloud world go to Overworld editor, and if you wan't to play in Sky Yoshi's Home take the pipe in the main overworld and replace the "demo ending" with it).

The Missing stars seems cool. Hoped the later changed so Luigi doesn't sound exactly as Mario.

it can get boring if the review was done with lots of mess ups and that happens a lot when the maker has not played the game yet. but it can be very funny that way.

I really don't like the pipe level cause of the amount of time given...

Story of ghost level.

It's a remake of Mario 3 Bowsers armada level.

And the ghost attacks end when you push the switch. (Switch not needed for reentering pipe).
