Meh, I don't need those new books!
They should finally make better NPC's!

Springy Hills! <3

That map should be turned into an Adventure Map.
EDIT: Wich texture pack are you guys using? I am using Janinacraft and Sphax Pure BDcraft
@AJ: You should do the springy platforms with pistons or something.
Also, MC for Xbox has been released... Quite tempted to pick it up for the local co-op.
@chschiffi: Ovo's Rustic Remption!
@WJUK: I don't think it will look that good... I can try it.

@Pencilmaster: The Texture Pack in your picture looks very default-ish!

The new larger biomes look very cool in the snapshot.
Also, plantable Cocoa Beans! Yay!
ADVENTURE MAP PREVIEW: http://www.truploader.com/view/216582
It's about time with the cocoa as well.
It was ridiculously difficult to get brown wool compared to the others.
@AJ32: Yeah, because I used a custom Texture Pack I created for the map, it is not yet complete. Also, I had some fun blowing up some TNT underground to create an ENORMOUS Cavern Chamber, and it looks fun sofar!
@WJUK: The only ways to get cocoa beans was to find brown sheep, or dungeons. OK, I guess TMI counts. But plantable cocoa beans… Jeb is the new, better Notch.

Jeb, in fairness, does seem to be a better Java programmer than Notch is.
I'm still sad that Minecraft is built in Java, it would run so much better in C/C++.
It would only run better in C/C++ if they programmed it better! It also would run better in Java if they chose a better way to create the game (just look at Optifine.. it makes the game faster)!

What an amazing game this is.........The levels are too amazing and Interesting and Like the characters of this Game....I always like to play it with my friends In my Free time.......

Well, unless they decided to run some heavy algorithms it should be faster regardless with C/C++.
Admittedly, they could squeeze out better performance with different programming techniques.
