Do you guys want a demo?
It's not completely done, but I was hoping I could post it here and have it tested, and get some input on it as well.

Nice work!
And demo on the first page!
My only problem is that there's no sound. And some "design" can be "improved".
Else then that! Awesome!
Haha, a demo straight away provides a change of pace.
It's nicely done, although I think rotation is too quick. You should slow that down a little.
You mean that it moves to quick and rotates too slow?
Ok, speed a little less.
@DS - what parts of the game - the enemies and stuff? For the two "bosses" at the end I haven't done art yet, save for the face on the circle one.
I think the rotation is too slow :p
Well, for a start. The interface looks a little too, vector-ish.
Yea, I'd like it a little faster myself. The only problem is that if you make it too much, then it gets hard to hit the enemies because you either over rotate or under rotate - you can't get exactly to them because each time you change 30 degrees or something. I can try it though if you want...
Also, just wondering, which control scheme did you guys like better?
And too vector-ish, huh? So do I make it more pixelly?
Actually... at a second look. It looks fine.
And:
I used the second one. I like WASD more.
Great. That was my version of dual analog, heheh.
And I fixed the thing where you have to click the game before you can move the player.
Have you considered using the mouse to shoot at the enemies?
Or would that be too hard to implement?
No, I haven't - that's a good idea. It's probably because I've grown to dislike games where you have to use the mouse to shoot stuff, or grapple(like final ninja) because I'm on a laptop and its a pain in the neck to work the mouse fast. But it's a good idea, I'll see what I can do, hopefully have it ready soon.
Just make it a separate control scheme, with a touch-pad it'd be hard to play but it's easier with a mouse.
I'm on a laptop as well.
Me too.
But I got external USB mouse.
Well yea I have a USB mouse as well to play other games on, but it's downstairs. XD
You may want to differentiate the bigger enemies from the smaller ones, maybe make them 2 hit kills.
Right now I do have the bigger enemies on a 3-hit-kill, but it does need to be raised...
And you can do something like that if you just keep the mouse close to the player, though that might be annoying...
All in all, it's really good.
Now you just need to flesh it out a little, more enemy diversity and all that.
