i think so. i did not join the forum until after world 2 but i thought that VideoGuy had came up with the idea of getting the shell in to strange parts of the level during the beta of world 2. and the brad put it in to the real game.

Not exactly... he put it in because of a lot of members got the snailshell to weird places in the demo. I don't know if it was because of he seen the "Odd Snaishell Spots" topic (made by videoguy).

Ok kids, gather round. Here's some history for you.

As far as I can remember (it's been a long time so cut me some slack), the forum was created after World 2 was released so no, Brad didn't put in snail-shell golf due to VG's topic. VG's topic is more of a homage to snail-shell golf in that respect.
I believe educkface (I think) started the trend by sending Brad a picture or something - which he featured in a post with a "WTF?". From then people tried to outdo each other by bringing the shell to more bizarre and far-fetched locations. That my friends, birthed Snail-Shell Golf... the rest is history.

Right, I didn't exist here until after World 2. The Forum was created about three months after the release (I had joined by then). The game originated in this post. I created the topic because I had already beaten the game about 100 times and needed a new challenge in it.

And yes, Brad does read the topics, he just doesn't seem to be around lately...

Correct. The snails were supposed to just be there, but my cousin (educkface) was playing around with one and got it to where the golfball hole is now in level 3.

And yes, I do read topics that I don't start, heh, especially the lmao picture thead thing.
