Well, there wasn't really a NG thread, so heres one... anyway Im doing something for the NG calendar contest, its not my best, but i dont have much time nowadaysss, anyway, heres my entry, its unfinished, i still have to decide on 2 other characters, hope you like it, hope i win.
and, yes, ive been told that Bitey's face dosnt lok right, im too lazy to fix it. XD
in the blue pane? thats bitey, from brackenwwood, the movies he's in are:
1.Waterlollies
2.The Yuyu
but i recommend you watch "The last of the Dashkin" first, its more like an explanatory vid, er documentary.
I'm prolly gonna put Pico in green, i was gonna put FPM, but the Bg didnt go well with stickmen, (you cant really see him)
any ideas for the purple plane? if i cant get anyone new by the time i finish drawing Pico, then im just gonna use Dad, from "Dad 'n' Me".

That's pretty awesome. I quite like it.
You should put Tankmen in the other. As much as I would like FPM in one of those panes, as you said it doesn't quite fit. And it's for NG too, so I suppose Pico and Tankmen works better.

What are you talking about? Waterlollies? The Yuyu? there are tons of Brackenwood shorts! not just two! But I like your art, it looks nice, but I think Bitey could use some polishing up. The alien looks great!
@WJUK: well he could use the FPM from NG rumble, hed fit well.
But then again, the tankmen are also really cool. how about five panes?

Because this is a general discussion thread 'bout NG,
I thought I'd like to ask, who else thinks they're going to want to compete in the next game jam? The last one was pretty epic, and it seemed like a fun thing to be apart of.
BTW: Alien hominid's shadow is missing an antenna.
@WR, and PS, well, when i create something, i like putting my art files inot many layer, like ALien Hominid has about 10 layers, and both antenna are in different layers, so when i copied and pasted the character to create the shadow, i had that layer locked, and with Bitey, well, i forgot about the horns until after i started with alien Homonid, and added them in quickly.
@Everyone else, actually, im only using my favorite characters...wait, i hate Dad 'n' Me...well, so the new lineup is Pico in the green panel, and tankmen in the purple one, which i will change to read. oh, and i'm redoing Bitey's head, and his upper body. Its pretty late here, wait, no, its just like 10 PM. so anyway, get back to you after midnight guys!
EDIT: oh, yeah, and @WR, i wanna participate in the next game jam!! it'll be awesome! just hope theres a cooler topic...

oh yeah, and just wanted to tell you guys, i'm getting an Intuos4 large wireless pen tablet for Christmas FTW! .
oh yeah, and heres the final version...kinda, if it needs changes tell me, and it wont be the final no-more. i fixed Bitey (i think) and added tankman and pico. oh, and when i was researching different postures, Pico always had 4 fingers, so to not look like an idiot, i gave him 4, does anyone know why he only has 4?

Well, i really like it! Just a few points: as hammy said, antenna is missing. Also, the horns and theres a little white chunk to the right of pico's armpit. And the light red spot in the tankman's shadow is really of place, so i guess you should fix it. Other than that, its awesome.
That's really good, really impressive.
