Played it a long time ago.... I tend to check back for the update though
Now I'm playing with Maya Nparticles!

Oh, I remember playing this!
It'd be fun if someone made it into a game (like, level-based, fulfill objective, etc.) instead of just a simulation though...
Wow, OE cake looks pretty neat... it doesn't seem to be in 2.5d to me like the wiki says though.

You have to click the shader option
You can change to dots/crosses/shader and some other things. It's good fun.
but i dont want to download it... it looks fun though. i want to know how do people code these games...
@Hammy: Probably using some sort of degree in computer sciences. No one here would ever be able to make something as good.
I dunno, I could give it a fair shot. It'll never be as good (or as fast, because I'm rusty on my OpenGL and C) but it's certainly doable.
Using classes for each of the different particles, you can detect collisions between the groups and react accordingly. Also provide them with properties (speed at which they drop etc.)
I wouldn't attempt anything like that right now, your a bit busy or you will be more busy in a bit hopefully...

i'll be a-waitin! (and constantly reminding you!) right now ure doing that bgf mash thing right?
