I probably should... I forget how outdated some of those builds get.
I always cringe when I stumble upon the game randomly online and it's version 1.4 or so and has the loading screen FPM with the badly drawn hair, blech.
Then again, that's no where near as bad as playing an old version of World 1 with the awful hair :/
And I'm not really sure what you mean by 'the second part of level 3...'

Anyway, to get past Level 3-2, you need to slide up slippery walls (that's from level 2-1, remember?). As soon as you launch off a spring, hold the direction of the nearest wall, and then just wall jump as you would regularly.

Just keep holding towards the walls that you're sliding up against, you shouldn't be losing too much speed...
