Yeah I know. I'm actually making a serious thread. Well, I was just curious to see if anybody has any form of christianity or any type of evangilism they might want to share. I am a Presbyterian, and my dad is a pastor for a Presbyterian church.
Religion?

I don't have a religion. Although I have the bible in one of my room drawers, simply because the school I use to go to was Christian. Urgh... hymns...

Hey bull- let me tell you something. here is two choices you can make. first choice: you can rather not believe in any god and when you die if there is a god then youre screwed, and if there is no god then you didnt gain anything anyways. second choice: you choose to believe in a god, and when you die well your saved and spend eternity in heaven when if there is no god nothing bad happened. you decide, my friend, its not up to me. all you have to do is believe that god died for your sins and ask jesus into your heart.

Actually, it can depend on what god you believe in. Buddhists believe in reincarnation (and ultimately Nirvana) etc.

Mistercheef, while a good point, it's a bit of a selfish thought.
Honestly, the more I delve into philosophy, and even then more I get to know about science the more and more I am convinced that there MUST be some greater power out there.Every girl loves a man in fancy pants! =)Posted 4 years ago # -
so......??
for me the proof lays in the bible, not in science. I dont see how it is a selfish thought if I'm trying to make a point about a reason I have for following god.Posted 4 years ago # -
I just believe that there is some greater might, controlling evolution.
And I cant believe that death would be, you know, DEAD.
but when i die, i dont think i come at a world on clouds with barely anything else than people. Not in cruelty

Well, it'd be kinda disappointing if after death it's just... well... nothingness. Everything we've strived for in our lives: gone. Like a puff of smoke.
