Frozoth, I agree that your point kind of makes sense, but is that really faith?
just blindly following saying "i believe" but no actually taking the time to investigate the facts. I’m a Christian don't get me wrong. but i think that science play a large part in proving that god is real and that really (scientifically) there is no other answer that has enough evidence to stand by it but that "something" created everything. I believe that that something is God. i could go into more depth but forum posts can only be so long. pm me if you'd like me to send you some more "in depth proof"

@WJUK: As only bad things seems to come out of this thread. I'd like to request a close on it.
But a new thread could be started. A thread with a whole lot of rules in the first post. As discussing religion don't necessarily needs to be a bad thing.
Ideas for the rules? Or just a close?

If it's alive it's still a danger. I'm handling right now instead of waiting for the flood of World 3 members. It's better this way.
But what do you think of it? A closure is safer then keeping this topic. And making a new one might be stupid.
And I'd rather keep this relic safe (and closed) then let it be unclosed and dangerous.

Why would it be silly? Add the message that it's really bad to have a religion topic? 'cause we were flaming each other instead of properly discussing. It's really simple.

I can see where you're both coming from, and frankly if you guys want me to close this then I won't mind.
I can also close this temporarily and then reopen it only when people are willing to have a mature discussion on the issue.

I'm always willing to, and I kinda like religious debates, as long as they are kept mature and people don't go like "It's like that because I/whoever says so."

Ideas for the rules? Or just a close?Religion debates are just pointless to begin with. Everyone has their own opinion, and barely ever do they change that opinion. All debating it does is make them feel more stupid.
There are no rules you can make to avoid this. I say just close the topic all together.

While "Debating about religion" may seem like an oxymoron, I'm not sure about closing the topic just in case someone does want to talk about religion. Then again, they can always PM me again to get me to re-open it.
