Alternatively, maybe have a sorta of rating system for each thread so if it gets under, say, -10 it'll be deleted.
Or something like that. That way there's less reliance of mods and admins and we can clean up most of the forum by ourselves.

Just for being the awesome pessimists (I'm back1) there are still sadists that just rate bad on topics and would mark posts for spam even if they are informative.
This feature would be used just for being evil.
If there where no kind security feature that if a member is reliable, the member would be "promoted" with the ability to delete post's and topics. Or: every year members choose to enter the contest where other members vote for a member that could have "administrator" account for a year.
Well on a forum like this, there won't be too many people like that. Maybe one or two occasionally but not often. And based on the point-system we can always rate it back up.
The only thing I can see wrong with a method like this is the mass creation of accounts by a griefer to delete topics.
And sadly that could happened
.
People are so evil these days.
If I did actually make it, I could put in a check that only gives a user the option if their post count is greater than 200 or something...
[edit] Brad, are you using a plugin for the Post Count? Because it isn't included in the standard version of bbPress, or maybe I missed it...
I'm honestly not surprised now with the internet. You could say I'm desensitized from this stuff now.

Could you really make that? Taht's awesome! (and reminds me that I once decided to study Javascript...) It'd be really cool if you made a Konami Code plug-in. Though I doubt Brad would use it.
A Konami Code plugin is awesome. Reminds me of the ESPN (I think) website where you did it and UNICORNS popped up. So amazing...
Haha, then take a look at AQ.com and enter the code there...A Konami Code plugin is awesome. Reminds me of the ESPN (I think) website where you did it and UNICORNS popped up. So amazing...

I started it, but I keep running into problems. These would be simple to fix if bbPress had any documentation, but unfortunately I have to google everything and hope that someone's mentioned it in the support forums.
It would be written in PHP, not Javascript. The two are very different languages.
Brad, if you're reading this (you probably aren't), would it be okay for it to auto-email you? That would probably be the easiest solution, and don't forget, you wouldn't get that many emails because only the forum's elite would have the power to send one.
The Konami Code plugin could be made easily, but what would it go to?

I'm not sure if emailing Brad would be a good idea, what with the whole "making gamez" business he has going on. Maybe he won't have time to do stuff like this.
Oh FO, where art thou be? When thy forum needs thy most!
*ahem* Anyway, it'd be awesome if the Konami code lead to a dancing GIF of Fancy Pants.
QFT. Though it can also be an .swf, I don't see why it should be a .gif...I'm not sure if emailing Brad would be a good idea, what with the whole "making gamez" business he has going on. Maybe he won't have time to do stuff like this.

Well yea it could be a .swf. Just anything that moves.
maybe it could send an e-mail to something like spam@borngames.com, then brad can just give both himself and FO the password to that account.

That could work. As long as they check it often. XD
I sent Brad a PM about it, we'll see what he thinks of the idea.
Ironic how bbPress made that email address into a link.
A PM on the forum? I'd suggest an email, you'll get a reply faster.
And yes, I luled.
