Okay, so I figured I need to go ahead and describe what this forum is for, and I actually did have to have Brad explain it to me. The motivation behind this thread was to discuss serious topics such as religion, politics, etc. You know the general topics that tend to get people into intense discussions. That being said, having modded a chat room for a good while I'm going to go ahead and explain what I really DON'T want to see in these topics.

1) Hate speak - Seriously guys, I don't want to have any random person posting offensive things about a religion, ethnicity, or race. It's not intelligent and it is definitely not "Serious Business"

2) Cursing - I can understand certain words coming out to express frustration, but serious discussions don't need to be riddle with unnecessary curse words.

3) Name Calling - If someone stumps you in an argument don't resort to name calling just because you have nothing to say.

4) Spam - Self Explanatory

5) Posting photos that are questionable

I'm going to leave it at that because I know most of you and am QUITE aware that y'all do not resort to these type of things.
I also want to point out that anything I may say in this forum does not reflect on Brad's opinions or personal beliefs. They are mine and mine alone.

So open for discussion include

-religion
-politics
-cultures
-philosophy
-etc. (if people find other topics of interest that pertain to "serious business")

Ok, my philosophy: gravity does NOT exist.
Every object in galaxy grows with an enornemous speed causing an illusion of gravity.
Since everything grows with the same speed, no-one notices that it grows.

It's about time to lay down some rules.

You might also want to say what the punishments for breaking the rules. Permo ban etc.

Nyubis, won't heavier things grow faster?
That said, we should expect that low mass objects like your brain are decreasing in size.

Well I proposed that, and since Brad and FO just changed the layout they probably aren't interested in changing it again. Although it's not a bad idea.

I think Wjuk needs to be given the power to put down temp bans, I think that he is capable of making smart choices and knows when someone goes to far.

I also think that mods should be able to suggest bans. But, this is not all that that important with the power of PMing!

Mods can suggest bans, and they won't be needed often enough to need someone beside Brad/FO to do them.

Some sort of banning function would probably be a good idea for the mods, but it's fine for now I suppose.

I recall a situation not long ago where this guy would repeatedly spam the forum and all I could do was delete the topics. Thankfully, deleting topics is rather painless so it didn't take long.
