If you like fantasy action-adventure RPGs, Skyrim is a must-buy essentially.
Well, you know, I have never played any RPG game so... I don't really know how they are.

Oh, I see... Anyway if someone wants to play Portal 2 with me I'm on Steam: hajg96
P.S.: I don't have any microphone unfortunately...

You should definitely get a microphone to play co-op, it makes things much better and fun.
Also, you should find someone who hasn't played Portal 2 co-op too that way you'd both be discovering it.
Meh... It's not that easy finding people who haven't played it yet... Plus remember that I don't spleak English very fluently (even tho I've made a lot of progress). Yes

Hm... no RL friends to play with? Or attempt to find some native-speaking gamers?
It's hard... Plus it takes a while (a LOT of time, actually) for the game (PSN/Steam) to find a random partner...

Skyrim was the thing to start this certain meme before it took an arrow to the knee.
@ Portal 2: Try to find someone who haven't played the co-op. It's much more fun when you're two trying to figure out a puzzle for the first time.
@ Skyrim / The topic: To be honest I haven't bought Skyrim and I'm unsure if I will until the Bethesda creativity kit is released. The game is quite amazing and there's a lot of things to do in it. To me the game feels kinda alien though. I'm used to a more "focused" type of fps (hallway shooters) so having a billion things to do that you can do in any order is quite the experience. It's just kinda sad that the lines a lot of npc's have are kinda shit. There's way too many npc's that say "I used to be [insert basically anything], until I took [a weapon] to the [body part]".
I used to be an adventurer, like you, until I took an arrow to knee.

The freedom can be quite daunting when you're not use to it. But it is definitely worth giving a go at least. The ability to just pick a direction and sprint to the end of the world is always a fantastic feeling.
If you decide not to fast-travel, it makes the game so much more fun as you come across so many little things during your travels.
I'm with Dax on this. Open-world RPG games are usually very impressive, but I prefer games like HL2 where you have a fairly clear direction of where to go, where the game can tell a specific and coherent story. In open-world games I usually end up lost, or at a loss about what to do next.

This just reminds me of an old Will Wright GDC presentation where he was talking about GTA. He explained how players are more likely to find something that they do themselves to be cool (his anecdote was doing a backflip in GTA) rather than something that the developers script.
@WJUK: I think that too, but I haven't played any RPG yet...

It doesn't have to be an RPG. It can be any game.
Here's a personal example of mine on Portal 2:
Playing co-op with a friend of mine on the Portal 2 DLC, it was chamber 3 IIRC. I solved the chamber by bunny-hopping to retain speed.
@WJUK: LAWL XD

@WJUK: This chamber?

No it was this one. It's the Co-op DLC chamber 3.
I essentially bunny-hopped after the launch-pad (away from the door) towards a portal on the wall (this jump). After my friend set up the Portal on the bit at the top.
To this day, we're not sure how you're meant to solve that properly.
