well guy, here is one of the hardest thing i have been faced with in flash... I JUST CANT SEEM TO GET IT RIGHT!!!! everything I've made so far has had so much random code and variables that if i were to do any more than one "slope" the game would run really slow.
i just need some help, most of the stuff I've done so far in experimenting involves a whole lot of trig and stuff... just PLEASE! at least give me something to work off of!

Just to be sure, you have read all the other slope detection topics, right?
Just got back on the internet after losing my access for a week. Read more on Random Discussion.Posted 1 year ago # -
^What VG said.
There are quite a few slope detection topics around the forum. Here's one and here's a basic tutorial TheFox made a while back.
For the sake of people disliking repeat topics (DS comes to mind), I think it's best you continue this thread in one of the earlier topics. And people are more inclined to help if you have some sort of code they can debug.
