Link tool is broken dude, don't use it. If you enter a link, it'll put it in double quotes. This makes bbPress think you're linking to something on this site (Forum section) so the link comes out like this.
What you SHOULD do is remove the double quotes. Then the link comes out like this, which is correct.
This also happens when you're trying to embed images. It also adds one more set of quotes if you edit. So if you edit and there's a link in your post, remove the double quotes.EDIT: If you enter the link correctly and edit it twice, it removes the link and makes your text into this.
EDIT 2: It seems the more you edit, the more it adds quotes to the a href tags.

And to answer your question, nope, I don't know anything about Stencyl/Flash/etc. All my work until now has been related to HTML5, our school doesn't teach any of that, but there are some very interesting videos about it online, that's how I knew about the link thing. I'm an absolute wizard at HTML, I've even made a couple of games with it.
