when i play fpa if fpm is on the left of the screen and he jumps i hear the left speaker go "boink"

Would surround sound really make much of a difference? I mean most of the time FPM is in the center of the screen anyway.

I meant that as a joke. Although I think SPCC took it literally. After all it's 2D, so how would you make the sound behind you or in front of you?

Actually, ProLogic II might have taken the snailshell bumping off screen to mean surround sound at one point, but I had to fade it out instead, cause it was a pretty obnoxious noise if you pan too far in Flash's setPan. But yeah, it takes way too much code and effort to get distinct stereo sound in Flash. setPan in global unless you make a movie clip for every sound (takes forever), but there was no way I was settling for just mono sound
