Almost everyone I've ever met likes Zelda games. But is there anything wrong with them? What is so awesome about them?( not saying that I don't like Zelda 'cause I love it. )And why is the name "The legend of Zelda" if the main character's Link? Should he get a little more credit for saving the world countless of times?

LoZ is awesome. It's the way Nintendo makes them that makes it an epic adventure. It's called LoZ and not LoL because I think in the first game, she had a rather large role and was the catalyst for Link's adventure.
its called LoZ cuz in the first game (my dad has it and never lets me play it.) link was unnamed, the old guy was called 'the old man' and the only dude(tte) with a real name was Zelda.

I think this should actually pay tribute to LoZ to counteract the (well, not really.) part. So, things like shrines of games, progress, or random praise for Link will do. I think this thread didn't get that much popularity it deserved. LET THE DISCUSSION CONTINUE...
Anyone have any thoughts on Skyward Sword or have guesses on what Nintendo will do afterwards.
Like Twilight Princess and Wind Waker graphics combined isn't cool enough.

The new Loz game looks like dumb.
Not just because there was "Interference" but from what they showed they didn't have anything worthwhile to bring to the table and until Nintendo makes a Virtusphere to work with the wii, I'm done with them.
I mean pockets? That doesn't seem like it's going to work.
It looks like they're trying for something akin to a mixture of TP and WW with SS.
We still don't know how it will play without actually playing it ourselves, but I believe that if anyone can pull off a game like SS it would be Nintendo. Still, I'm not sure I'd like it though.
Hopefully it will be as epic as TP. Nintendo never failed me before, but this could be very much like SEGA and their wildcard games. You think they'll make a hit with their Sonic games (take Sonic Unleashed for example) and they don't, or vice versa.
@electron: Well I really haven't seen the SS look, yet. But I'll have to say that they shouldn't stuck with the realism of Twilight Princess. Which brings me to the point where I have to say that to achieve full realism, a Wii HD must come to pass.
There won't be a Wii HD anytime soon (or at all, I think), since Nintendo have found such a good market for the Wii normally. Making a HD version would just alienate the current user-base.
I just think it's a good idea for Nintendo to look forward. I mean, I can't even imagine what Nintendo will do afterwards except focus a lot more on the 3DS. To me, Wii HD seems like the only option to move forward to. Though improving the original would be a good start. Ultimately little changes lime bug fixes and some hardware improvements easily move up to big things like a new design (though I have no problem with the original) and a bigger emphasis on online multiplayer.
Nintendo do have to move to online multiplayer sometime, albeit reluctantly.
It seems they really don't want to though.
Which scares me half to death. Nintendo acting reluctantly to do something may show in their response to other multiplayer giants like Xbox Live or PSN. We could see some firsts for Nintendo this year.
