Hey everyone. After being in this awesome forum for a while and seeing how many other people are making games, I thought I might as well make a thread about mine. (and the crowd goes wild!)
I'm working on a little shapeshifting platformer called The QuickSilver Chronicles.
The main character

is a prince. He's off to rescue his sister

who has been kidnapped by a villain I have yet to design.
Everyone in the royal family has these birthmarks on their hands

which symbolize that they have shapeshifting powers. (sorta like the Triforce)
Unfortunately, the siblings haven't been trained how to use their powers yet, so as the main character searches in the woods for his sister, he must also learn how to shapeshift. The spirits of the woods must teach him how. (for instance, a bear spirit would teach him how to turn into a bear.)
The spirits are the bosses.
Sooo.... there are six forms he will learn over the course of the game. (turtle, bear, fish, alligator, bat and hawk) and they all have special abilities that are needed to complete levels.
Oh, I almost forgot, here's a picture of the prince as an alligator.

What do you guys think?
