Going back to the topic...
Megaman wasn't really underrated but it's still a good game. The storyline is practically the same in every game but that's not the point. It harkens back to the days when games were hard and beating them was a real trial (not to mention you had to leave the console on if you wanted to sleep since there was no saving feature).

Yea but the new Mega-Man games aren't as good as the classics. The story line makes no sense. They Just ruined it.

That's what I said, but I honestly can't think of too many under-rated platformers. Mainly because the ones I play (and remember) weren't under-rated.
