It could also be a trophy level, or something in the next World.

MOAR SECRET LEVELS!Seriously there shoud be alot of secret levels that include unlockables or abilities that you can get(that can almost break the game, but are just modified versions of your normal ones) or just some that you run through. For a boss idea I thought of fighting enemies before getting to the real boss.
Oh Some one asked about the cake, heres the cake! OMG cake!

I like the idea of having hidden levels, or more stuff like the wall jump thing in World 1 (where you have to use the ability in a room to unlock it or something). I don't think there will be any special abilities that Brad hasn't told us about in World 3, just because he wants to finish it and that would be a lot more work. I like it when there are things that you can't find without exploring different parts of the levels. I also like it when there are messages and drawings in random places.

Im thinking of secret levels that reference older games(such as Contra, Super Metroid, Megaman, etc.) and even play homages to World 1 and 2.

I don't think he'll reference other games, except maybe Worlds 1 and 2. He's more likely to have stuff like pinball and the science room as secret levels.

There should be a secret door in Squiggleville which leads to the swing next to FPM's house! As easter egg!

@AJ32: No, that wouldnt be so cool. I bet it would be hard for Brad to do that. Plus we already have Springy Hills.
RIP Edd Gould, you may be dead but your world will keep on spinning.Posted 8 months ago # -
It wouldn't be very hard!
That swing could be like a moving platform in Level 8!Posted 8 months ago # -
@AJ32: Look at this image I done. This is how it could look like:

hmm. yes this is all true. so have we decided why the pirate is the bad guy yet? still rambling about ideas. so maybe at one point the pirate steals fancy pants mans pant's and u have to play a level where u can't run as fast or jump so high or flip. and at the end u get them back. or they could make it so cutie pants has to get them back for fancy pnts man. just a thought.

@jake950: We cant have ideas anymore on World 3 since Brad is soon done with it.
Instead we can post in "World 4 Ideas".

Brad can't change anything because it's the sane game that is already out on the consoles!
But he needs to release W3 this year because you can buy "World 3 — Coming 2011" postcards...

Where did you get that from?

As I for the first time ever looked on the World 3 Page, I thought the plot would be like this:
Pirates and Ninjas have invaded Squiggleville to search the worlds mightiest weapon: The pencil! So FPM is off and about to search it before the baddys do! But before he gets out, his mom says: "You must let Cutie Pants come, its unfair for just you to have some games!"
And that is why I thought Cutie Pants would need to come with him.RIP Edd Gould, you may be dead but your world will keep on spinning.Posted 8 months ago # -
You have strange ideas...

Yes, but I think that it were cool ideas! Maybe in FPA World 4 (if Brad makes it) He could introduce the whole pants family!
Stricty Pants Dad
Nice Pants Mom
Crazy Pants Uncle
Fancy Pants Man
Cutie Pants GirlHmm, all the names except FPM and CPG are not at all Fancy...

I thought his uncle's name was Jack...

World 3's out. Let's discuss, shall we?
So, yesterday I got to play World 3 for the first time. There may be only 9 levels, but they have great length (Well, I don't know about Island Express, it didn't have enough enemies). There were TONS of amazing sound effects that make it extremely fun to bash those spiders around. The animation was excellent, and the battle with Captain Manlybeard at the end actually proved to be much harder than that Angry Rabbit, which is good in my opinion. The music was also fun. There's a few tracks that I still can't stop thinking about. The Great Mountain is also an interesting, slightly-hidden level.
Of course, there's still some things the game lacks since it's not in its "full" version yet. For example, the blocks that can be stabbed in the place where the pencil room can be found still need to be colored in. Also, the ending of the game didn't seem long enough. After you beat the boss, Cutie Pants apologizes and hops on FPM's shoulders. Then you just go back to the Level Select room. It would have been cool to see some sort of ending theme, or at least some dialogue. While the endings in the first two games were just as short, the cutscenes in World 3 were a bit longer and I think the ending deserves to have more length too.
Now, on to glitches.
- When you re-enter FPM's bedroom, no music will be playing.
- Every single time you exit FPM's bedroom, you have to go all the way through the training room again.
- This one's a bit harder to describe, so I'll give an example: Let's say I've just gotten to Pirate's Cove and I haven't collected any stars or bottles, and I haven't done the challenge or the micro-trial. If I pause, it will show what I've done in Pirate's Cove. Then I push left and it shows what I did on The Great Mountain. But when I push right again, nothing happens. I can't see what I did in Pirate's Cove. I mean, I can just pause and unpause, but it's inconvenient.
- In the Princess Pirate Ship, when the keys fall from the sky after I defeat all the enemies in the challenge rooms, I can kick the key around for a while until it stops bouncing.
- The blue challenge room has no music.Well, that's all I can think of for now. I hope Brad is reading this!
Don't hate.
