my last post for a while… First,I found a beta virsion of fancy pants adventure world 2 on http://www.addictinggames.com (this is for people who didn’t play one of the beta virsions). Second,Brad,can you make a high score board or at least a mini game for the ones that collected all the trophies in world 1 and 2 and all the colors in world 2 ’cause now there isn’t that much challenge in the game anymore. Third, I can’t wait until fraser’s ride! Fourth (You’d think I’d run out of things to say by now wouldn’t ya.), I ROCK!!!!!!

Touche. I still own at most games though, was 4th in the worldwide leaderboards for Mario Strikers Charged a week after it came out over here. I can play over half the songs in GH3 on expert. Among a bunch of other things. Oh and I’ve just become the Master (Guild-master) of the fighters guild in Oblivion; I’m also the Grand Champion of the Arena. 🙂

so, WJUK, on a scale of 1 to 10, rate your geekiness! im about a 7. oh and i was playing FPA 2 and on level two iwas just trying to get the purple pants color for the eightieth time when the shell got stuck in the first hand-hold near the exit door and i couldnt get it out. wtf?

Cut scenes can be annoying, but it depends. I usually watch most cutscenes all the way through the first time. But then skip them again. I get really irritated when there are cutscenes just before a boss-fight and you lose; making you have to watch the cinematic again which you’re unable to skip!
I think we’re seeing a shift in cinematic approaches in games. More and more games render cutscenes with the in-game engine where you can still control you’re character and do stuff. It may lack the movie feel from traditional cutscenes but we’re playing games here which makes sense. It’ll be some time before this becomes the norm tho, me thinks.
Phail! Everyone knows that Final Fantasy: Advent Children is THE longest cutscene ever made (oh, you know its true :P).
I don’t know, I never really considered myself very geeky, more of an artist, I suppose (video games are an art form, btw, and if anyone claims otherwise, they’re being stupid).

If any of you have already figured this out just,look the other way because I don’t want to waste your time, but in the transition between level one and two if you slide while you’re sorta upside-down and sorta horizontal you get stuck (as long as you keep holding the down arrow)and a smoke cloud appears under FPM that won’t go away. It’s kinda cool.
