The Fancy Box is my excuse to experiment with new features for the Fancy Pants Adventures outside of the usual World releases.

i dont know how am i gonna play multiplayer
For player one: Left arrow to move left; right arrow moves right; up arrow for up; down arrow crouches, slides, rolls; [;] jumps (or uses pencil sword); and [‘] uses pencil sword (or jumps).
For player two: [F] to move left; [H] to move right; [T] for up; [G] crouches, slides, rolls; [S] for jumping, and [A] for pencil sword.
for 1 player: move with left, right down jump with’ jump and with ; use the pencil
for 2 player: left is F right is H up is S and use the pencil A.
for 3 player: J is left right is L jump with U and use the pencil with Y
for 4 player:(it’s hard) the left is Z the right is C jumps with E and use the pencil with Q.

Hey Brad. just signed up. I have adobe flash version 12.0.0.77
…and the fancy box is not loading. it wont even start. I’ve tried everything…clicking on the “Fancy Pants DYO” is what I assume the start button, will reload the page. and when I right click, there is a tab that says “Movie not loaded…”
any idea how I can fix this? :fpm:

okay, so the fancy box works on my family’s home computer, but it’s a tiny bit slow. the fancy box doesn’t even work on our game playing based laptop that plays the FPA’s smooth as butter.
so basically I kick my little brother’s butt on the big computer. I can’t on the little computer. He’s learning fast though, so I have to stay on my toes! ๐
Huh, Fancy Box should play about as well as World 3, it’s pretty much the same exact engine. How’s the AS3 alpha stuff play? That’s the important part right now. I’d love to get some of the Fancy Box experimental gameplay back into AS3 in parts eventually, maybe fleshed out as smaller releases, so you should be back to butt kicking without restraint soon enough!
The AS3 alpha is smooth as butter! I love it! though how on earth do people get those racing scores? There’s gotta be a catch somewhere…there’s always a catch. :er_neutral:

You need Flash to open the files. I’m not really supporting the Fancy Box right now, since the latest game is built in an entirely new engine. The setup is pretty similar, so there’s a chance I’ll be doing custom levels again, but I’m not focusing on it right now.
You should be able to get a month long trial of Flash if you still want to play around with the old engine. Now if I could only get drawing straight into the game itself, that would be something…

Hey Brad. I found out that you can easily play 4-player on Fancy Box. Player one & two keep the same controls but two other fancy pants jump, swing and kick just the same. Plus just like the game, you can kick fancy pants and swing the pencil at him when he is crouched. Amazing work out there! Keep it up! :woot: (One of your many #1 fans out there) :fpm:
