1.6a patch

I was holding off on this to make sure everything’s right, and there were a few bugs left in the 1.5/1.6 update, but this patch should fix everything. Actually, I don’t think I mentioned the 1.6 update here, but it changes a lot of the platform and wall code so that the shell is now aware of ledges (will roll off them, bounce off them properly). I’m kind of glad that I figured that stuff out, though, I think it would work really well in the tile-based platforming engine I have lying around here somewhere…

Yeah, I know, I’m spending all my time fixing World 2 when I should be making new games. But think of it this way, if I spend so much time on the FPA engine, I pretty much have to make World 3… eventually ๐Ÿ˜‰

Also, I have a really cool surprise for everyone that should be ready before the weekend ๐Ÿ˜€

    Hi again. I am spokeless. Yesterday i had some doughts about World 2’s perfectness. But that was yesterday…
    DUDE!!! what did you do there? OMG!!! This is soooooo perfect that i can’t find words to describe it. Really don’t ever touch World 2 again. More perfect than that only in Mars or something.

    SWEET!!! And I dont know if it would take longer than world 3…

    Because: in the forum you already posted a platforming code where you were using 1 MC to walk on.
    And I happen to have a script where you can draw lines, all in 1 MC.

    I’m gonna try to combine those now ๐Ÿ˜€

    Say… is the Mr. Fancy Pants more “flippy” than he was before? I don’t think I’ve seen him do as many turns as he did after that last jump.

    As I was wandering around, getting ready for a speedrun, I noticed this little guy pacing up and down very, very quickly. His poor little leg must’ve gotten caught in the thick, mean platforms.

    I got a bug similar to that. I don’t know if it will do any good, since the World 2 update is already out, but I’ll report it anyway.

    It was on level three. I rolled down a hill and kicked a spider into the air. It landed on the side of the big purple wall (what is the point of that anyway?) It just spazzed by walking back and forth really fast, just like the picture hawkaris showed. What’s strance is that it wasn’t really walking on anything, just the edges of the small platforms.

    If it makes any difference, this was the Kongregate version.

    Haha, well, that was just a guesstimation, it should be happening some time this weekend, early next week maybe.

    Oh oh oh! Is it like an update for World 2 that adds more levels and stuff? Or does it update World 1 with better animations and stuff? Sorta like a remake kinda thing?
