    The combo thing FPM does is great, the pirates react very good.

    It would be crazy if the pirates could tag team against you.

    While the 1st pirate is gaurding, the second one could charge up an attack.

    Well, first off, it looks great and seems like this will be very fun.

    But, I don’t really like how to pirates look like crabs when they walk. Maybe that’s just me, but I don’t find it appealing.

    And are the pirates going to be that hard to kill in the game? You were hitting him for like ten minutes and he just kept blocking.

    Still, other than these two things, everything looks amazing. I loved that spinning-flying pencil attack towards the end.

    Cool! I love the accurate reactions of the pirates!

    My only thoughts are, are they going to attack actively during battle, because it seems that they just defend for now… I’m sure it will be different later on.

    @Poker: Once their sword is down, you can just jump on a pirate’s head. It’s sorta like a two-step process.

    Sweet, I like what how it zooms in on the action and I can’t wait to see the finished pirates… Too bad I don’t understand cat or dog, 😀 I actually like not knowing though, it helps build up hype, Batman 2 and The Force Unleashed 2 are doin that to me right now and it’s driving me crazy (in a good way)

    Oh and your pets are cool too, seriously, you have Chuck & Norris… CHUCK & NORRIS, that’s just freakin’ sweet man 🙂 All my dog does is get hip issues and cancerous lumps, he’s a med/large pitbull/foxhound/beagle mix so it’s petty normal though (the lumps and pitbull I mean).

    Brad, you made a zooming camera now too? Are you using a V-Cam for it or just some really advanced code?

    And are the pirates supposed to be invincible, or have you just not finished their AI yet?

    Also, I vote to disable paginated comments, or at least use something like this, since it’s a bit hard to read right now.

    ok rehyzi, you obviously don’t understand the concept of the “Edit” button.
    basically, the edit button is the small little box below your post that says “Edit Post”.
    what you do is, whenever you want to say something else after you’ve already posted, you click it… then edit your post.

    its as simple as that

    the irony is yesterday was duct tape night at my youth group and i went as a duct tape ninja, including a mask, a knock out ninja club, and awesome ninja shoes. it was pretty awesome

    @wallross: Most of the finished stuff is far more boring. Bug fixes, behind the scenes improvements or systems for adding content later. Plus, newer stuff I can make with a report in mind, saving different versions as I’m making something.

    @chad854: Yep, because everything needs to be drawn by hand, it doesn’t exist unless I draw it. Very little tweening here 😛

    @Sebby19: They have charge attacks that I disabled while working on the combos, so yeah, they’ll tag team like that.

    @poker158149: Keeping both their feet on the ground lets me scroll through the frames using their speed and stopping and any one.

    @DaxterSpeed: Was fooling with that, zoomed it out a bit more, should be fixed.

    @hamcheese362: They’re loud as hell. They all LOVE to talk. Or maybe they just love you guys 😉

    @FoonySlugminni: Not exactly defending, but engaging you in a sword fight. Think more Ninja Turtles (the shows and movies) than Ninja Gaiden. But yes, I turned off attacking for sake of checking the animations over and over.

    @Vick: Your dog would make a terrible Pokemon :/

    @VideoGuy: Just good ol’ _xscale and _yscale. the multiple backgrounds still don’t work right with it yet, though, bah.
